The THOR-12 is a ranged weapon that fires shotgun cartridges. It can only be equipped in a Primary Slot.

Overview

The THOR-12 is a 12-gauge fully automatic shotgun. It can load a maximum of 8 compatible 12-gauge shotgun cartridges in their respective magazines, namely the 8-round buckshot, 8-round slug, and 8-round beanbag magazines.

The THOR-12 features a magazine support bracket that rests against pistol grip and A-frame iron sights. The weapon can only be fired fully automatic, however, the shooter can fire one round at a time with brief trigger pulls.

The bean bag round is a special, non-lethal type of ammunition. A player target hit by a bean bag will receive an instant increase of 69% in torpidity, while losing 30% stamina.

The buckshot consists of multiple medium diameter pellets. When fired, the shot pellets follow a spread pattern that grows in size as the range increases.

Trivia

• The THOR-12 is based on the Atchisson Assault Shotgun
• Prior to the Beta 1.0 update, the THOR-12's weapon model came defaulted with a camouflage finish, which closely resembled that of the US Army's pixelized UCP camo
